Education Manager

Deborah is responsible for the development of the ACTF’s educational resource packages and the Learning Centre materials. She has many years experience in education as a teacher and as a curriculum officer; writing and developing education resources, providing professional development and curriculum implementation.

Maggie Garrard

Maggie Garrard

Education Officer

Maggie is a respected expert in multimodal and multi-literate teaching and learning in the digital age, and is a regular presenter at conferences and professional learning sessions on the topic. She helps educators and curriculum leaders to source relevant materials for the classroom; delivers strategies to enhance media literacy; and aligns the work of the education unit with current education theory and practice. Maggie also coordinates the ACTF Advisory Schools network.

Education Projects & Partnerships Officer

Anna initiates and develops partnership projects between the education and entertainment industries. As part of her role, she develops and produces interactive, digital education resources; manages the marketing, public relations, sponsorship and promotion of ACTF education programs and resources; and manages online and print content for ACTF publications.

Sarah Parry

Sarah Parry

Receptionist

Sarah is our first point of contact regarding conferences and workshops; inhouse professional development and training sessions; and the ordering of ACTF programs and education resources. She oversees the education contact lists and organises donations/prizes for school events on request. Sarah also manages the ACTF website, Facebook and Google Plus pages.
