2008 Board meeting onwards should be made using the new application
form.

Funding
|
|
| |
The ACTF considers that a healthy children’s production
industry will help create better programs for the child audience.
Accordingly, it provides a multifaceted assistance program for
producers and writers.
The ACTF provides funding for children’s content including
television series, one-off television programs, telemovies and
feature films.
Funding is open to all genres, but preference will be given to
drama content which typically has higher development requirements
than other genres.
Projects must be, in the opinion of the ACTF, likely to be of
interest to Australian children.

Project development
funding |
|
| |
The ACTF provides funds to
assist with the development of children’s projects. Funding
may be used by applicants to hold writers workshops, prepare ‘concept
bibles’ and/or write scripts. The ACTF will typically
only fund one stage of development at a time.
All prospective applicants should read the project
development funding guidelines (download
pdf).
Applicants must use the project
development funding application form (download
pdf).

Production
investment, co-productions and distribution advances |
|
| |
The ACTF can provide production investment,
participate in co-productions and provide distribution advances for
projects. However, funds for these purposes are extremely limited.
Interested applicants should discuss their projects prior to any
application with the ACTF’s Head
of Production & Development.
All prospective applicants should read the investment/distribution
guidelines.

Reader if you are unable to view the PDFs.
