The Education News lists all ACTF productions and carefully chosen programs created by other Australian producers. Each issue highlights a specific ACTF resource and provides information on how it links to curriculum objectives and effective pedagogy. The materials for purchase include:

  • ACTF television programs and films
  • CD/DVD teaching resource packages : They contain DVDs of the TV episodes plus an educational DVD containing selected digitized clips and teaching activities exploring social and interpersonal issues, personal growth, viewing literacy, and other areas of curriculum content.
  • Teaching kits: They contain segments from a TV series repurposed onto CD/DVD with accompanying printed teaching notes/study guides.

Materials are categorised by Key Learning Areas (KLAs), Subject and Year Level or Audience:

The quarterly print version of the Education News is sent to every school library and educational institution in Australia.

PLEASE NOTE: Receipt of a completed current order form at the ACTF denotes a firm sale of the goods ordered. Goods are not supplied on an approval or preview basis. All programs have received a "G" rating for General Exhibition from the Office of Film and Literature Classification unless otherwise stated in the catalogue and on the order form. Any technically defective videos/CDs/DVDs should be returned for immediate replacement.

Free teaching materials:
The ACTF also provides free online resources in the Teaching Materials sections of the Learning Centre.
