Lesson plans
Search over 300 teaching and learning activities and units of work for K-10, based on ACTF TV and Film productions, with new material added regularly. All activities are modeled extensively in the classroom with quality feedback from schools about their effectiveness and currency.

Lockie Leonard Multi-Literacy Teaching and Learning DVD-ROM:

The Lockie Leonard resource is directed at years 6-9. There are over 100 teaching and learning activities, 43 Question sheets, 88 Worksheets and 70 digital video clips for teachers and students to explore the texts and TV series about Lockie Leonard.

 
 


Mortified:

Being Mortified: a focus on growing up for years 4-8 provides teaching and learning activities about how meaning is created and communicated within the TV series. It is divided into 4 lessons with accompanying worksheets.

 
 

Noah & Saskia:

The extensive teaching resources for years 5-9 focus on young people’s fascination with the Internet and ethics and values associated with being online.

 
 

Holly's Heroes:

The education resources address current concerns about young people, health, sport and choices for years 4-8 and support school programs that empower students and engage them in meaningful debate about teenage issues.

    The ACTF office has a public Resource Centre for research with reference books, periodicals and articles about media and society and media effects. Bibliographies of these resources are available online.
