About Genie from Down Under

When upper class English girl Penelope finds a magic opal containing two Australian genies, Bruce and his son Baz, she thinks all her problems are over. But Bruce has other Plans. He and Baz trick Penelope into wishing her family to Australia at every opportunity. Penelope hates Australia and is constantly trying to get back to England. It’s a comedic battle of wills and a clash of cultures, as Penelope learns that there is a difference between power and wisdom.

Episode 1: Wishing and Hoping:

Upper class English girl Penelope Townes finds a magic opal which contains two Australian genies, Bruce and his son Baz. She thinks all her problems are solved, and that she can have anything she wants. Bruce, however, has other Plans.
Episode 2 – It's My Opal...(And I'll Cry If I Want To):

Penelope loses control over the magic opal and discovers that an Australian Outback Tour Operator called Otto von Meister also wants the opal.
Episode 3 – Where it’s at:

Bruce wants to become human but to do this he must take the opal to the cave where it was mined over a hundred years before. He sets out to trick Penelope into visiting the cave.
Episode 4 – Good Cop, Bad Genie:

Penelope loves Conrad von Meister and Bruce wants to be back in Australia. With just a twist of a master’s wish, Bruce makes everyone happy, except Penelope.
Episode 5 – Customs:

Penelope, Lady Diana and Mossie are arrested by a Customs Officer when they return to England with 20 million pounds provided by the genies. That exact amount has just gone missing from the Royal Mint.
Episode 6 – Larceny:
Lesson Idea: Translating Comedy from Screen to Print
Bruce helps Otto and Conrad get the opal because he thinks they will help him return to Australia. Instead, the von Meisters sell it for 25,000 pounds. It’s now up to the genies to sort the mess out.
Episode 7 – The Eternal Quadrangle :

Penelope and Bruce have a battle of wills over a wish. And if neither of them back down, then Penelope’s mother and Otto von Meister will get married.
Episode 8 – Nobody's Perfect:
Lesson Idea: Nobody's Perfect
Penelope invents the perfect wish, and for a while, she lives the most perfect life in the world. But Bruce has some surprises up his sleeve for his young English master.
Episode 9 – Triple Agent:

Conrad is convinced that there is something strange about Bruce and tries to catch him out. In the meantime everyone else becomes convinced that Conrad is the strange one.
Episode 10 – A Tale of Two Cities:

Conrad is hot on the trail of discovering the real identities of Bruce and Baz. And the romance between Bruce and Penelope’s mother is warming up too.
Episode 11 – School Days:
Lesson Idea: School Days
With a clever genie to keep her occupied, Penelope has forgotten all about her schooling. Unfortunately for Penelope, her Australian school and her British school haven’t forgotten about Penelope Townes.
Episode 12 – Triple Treat:
Lesson Idea: Triple Treat
Identical twins give Otto and Conrad the Plan to make a copy of the opal and swap it with Penelope’s opal. With a real opal and two replicas, there is a lot opal rubbing, but not much magic.
Episode 13 – It's Still Magic:
Lesson Idea: It's Still Magic
Bruce is forced into make the biggest decision of his life, to become human or to rescue Otto and Diana and Penelope.

Bruce finally has the courage to ask Diana to marry him, but first he must tell her he is a Genie.

Penelope wishes that everyone could be honest with each other and gets more than she bargained for when Lord Bubbles gets hold of the Opal and turns into Guru Baba Bubbles.
Episode 6– Lord of the Nail Files:

Penelope’s school is on excursion to the Australian outback and is left without food and water. Will Penelope and the Genies be able to save the girls?
Episode 8– My Better Half:
Lesson Idea: Me, Myself and I
Penelope creates a double of herself to do all the dirty work. She’s annoyed to discover that her family prefer the duplicate to the real thing!
Episode 9– Stocks and Bondings:
Lesson Idea: What's the Attraction?
Me, Myself and I
Penelope is infatuated with the ultra-rich Montgomery St. Ives. Unfortunately, he’s a two timing rat and Penelope has to turn to Bruce for help and discovers revenge is sweet with a magic opal.
Episode 12– Otto rules OK:
Lesson Idea: What's the Attraction?
Diana has joined the environmentalists and accepts an invitation to join Otto, who claims he is now a greenie. But it is just a plot to get the opal and it works.
