The Story
Johnson, the pink elephant and his friends, are toys who live in Michael’s ‘ordinary’ bedroom. However to the toys, it is a huge challenging world full of mystery, adventure and wonder. The toys find their adventures everywhere, and in the process learn about friendship, co-operation, and respect for each other’s feelings.

Film Australia produced the series, using life-sized puppets in a gigantic set scaled to create the illusion of a real child’s room. Each toy had an operator inside to bring personality to the toy character, twisting and moving the puppet to express emotions. “The Programs depict the secret life of toys with the captivating magic of a child’s play world...” The Age
