Prix Jeunesse Festival

World Summit

The ACTF hosted the First World Summit in Melbourne in 1995 and has been involved with the organisation of each successive Summit. Summits are held every three years.

The Fifth World Summit is to be held in South Africa in 2007.

The Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) is a state-of-the-art centre for the public exhibition, display and preservation of Australian and international screen content in all its forms. Enhance TV
This Australian site offers resources for teaching with television. It describes new and soon-to-be-released film and TV programs, media studies articles, study guides, lesson plans, teachers' notes and a weekly TV guide to upcoming broadcast programs of educational value. It also contains up-to-date information about copying from TV for educational purposes.

Australian Teachers Of Media- ATOM

ATOM is an independent, non-profit, professional association promoting the study of Media. ATOM’s site publishes information and resources for teachers of media and provides links to other media teaching organisations.

Metro Magazine and Australian Screen Education
This site is the publications arm of ATOM. It provides information about the national media education journal Australian Screen Education and other ATOM media publications, the ATOM speakers bureau, has access to joining the email broadcast list and it has free study guides to Australian films and TV and information about the annual ATOM Awards for film and television.
