REVIEWS:
The Age: 04/05/2004 :
" ... this series ... is as up-to-date as the refresh button
no your computer."
" There is no reason why, Noah & Saskia , produced by
the Australian Children's Television Foundation, ... and the BBC,
and with a snappy script by Chris Anastasiades, should not become
cult viewing. ...Puck might put a girdle round the earth in 40 minutes,
but these two achieve it instantaneously and with as much endearing
magic and mayhem...
It promises much and I look forward to more episodes ."
The Age - Green Guide: 29/04/2004
: " Sometimes it seems kids are better served by Australian
drama than adults are ... Noah & Saskia ... is fast and
funny with cute, clever imagery and lots of cutting between
countries and the characters' on and off-screen personas."
Who Weekly: "Noah & Saskia
...www. Cool Kid's show blows chat-room secrets.com.au. A British-Australian
co-production for 9 - 14 year olds would once have consisted of
a series about a Pom family arriving down Under to find kangaroos
in the kitchen. Then the web entwined the world, and kid's TV wizards
such as executive producer Patricia Edgar (ACTF) got online to develop
productions like this superior "netcom."..."
The West Australian: 04/05/04 "Teenage
classics such as Degrassi Junior High and Heartbreak High hit on
the teenage TV formula for success and Noah & Saskia could be
one program to follow in their footsteps.... The colourful program
is intriguing and definitely something we have not seen on the box
before"
Sunday Times : 02/05/04 " A rich
and exciting blend of live action, animation and visual effects,
Noah & Saskia is a welcome and innovative new series." |
