Our latest resource supports teachers in using the award-winning short film, First Day, in their classrooms. The First Day Teaching Toolkit is mapped to the Australian Curriculum. It explores themes relevant to the Year 6/7 transition, including values, identity, resilience, friendships, and inclusivity. 

Student Voice: 2018 Work Experience Reflections

As an organisation that is passionate about children’s cultural and educational experiences, the ACTF greatly values student work experience programs. Introducing teens to the world of work – often for the first time – is a privilege, and we always aim to make this experience meaningful and inspiring.

The Woven Threads: Stories from Afar Teaching Toolkit aims to support teachers in exploring key themes from the Woven Threads series. The resources also aims to build students’ understanding of, and empathy with, refugees and asylum seekers.
